- 1 ★: I have had this system for several years. It's always been touch and go with the app, but normally they would get it fixed in a day or so. But I too have not been able to connect with my system since 7/14/20. I have been patiently waiting, thinking that each day they would have it fixed, but its day 3 and nothing! The system is great and works great, but the app is terrible! Please for the sake of your name, get this fixed so we can use what we bought and payed for!
- 1 ★: To start off with the picture quality on the app (when it was working) is a 2/10 very distorted picture quality. But i guess i don't have to worry about it now because i can't even see the cameras on my phone anymore. This app is the worst app you would think with all of the technology we have in 2020 it would be decent. Wish i could give it 0 out of 5 but 1 is the lowest. 1/10.. would not recommend.
- 1 ★: It just gets worse... Now, with the new update, I'm unable to share my recorded videos ad I use to be able to. It no longer gives you the option to share after recording footage. It doesn't even generate in the downloaded/video files on my phone or ipad anymore. I've tried everything, nothing works. What's the sense if you can't share footage with law enforcement.You would have to download directly from the DVR, and have a flash drive handy. SMH... I regret purchasing this system a year ago.

Not sure what changed, we have checked all of our settings and double checked... we can not connect remotely to it any longer, and its frustrating for sure. Did something change? i read another review that they are having the same problem as of today 7/14/2020
- 1 ★: Its 2020, and your telling me your video quality in your app is still that bad? To anyone who doesn't own these cameras, or just bought them, return them asap and buy something else. I've had these cameras for a year now, and the video quality in the app is atrocious. The quality on the computer monitor at my house is fair, but the app is absolute garbage, and everyone wants to check their cameras on their cellphone when they arent home. 10/10 will never buy again.

DVR see.s to be fine but no way to even view it except locally with a vga monitor. After being in the TV business as an engineer I can say this app is garbage.May just return my DVR. No point installing the app if I customers cannot view cameras remotely. UPDATE: July 18, 2020 my cameras are back online for both homes. Thank you.

This was the day I also reloaded this app & sought to read the most recent reviews due to out of no where the app didn't work. Before this date there have been small hiccups throughout the 2 yrs of using Samsung DVR cameras otherwise it has worked. The app will work when I am connected to the same wifi that the camera/dvr is hooked up to however when I am out of the home none of my devices will connect.
